- Sumitomo Mitsui Construction built two floating solar power plants on three ponds in Izumisano City, Osaka:
- Izumisano City Nagataki No. 1 Floating Solar Power Plant on Kai no Ike Pond (923kW)
- Izumisano City Nagataki No. 2 Floating Solar Power Plant on Honami and Ueda Ponds (1,874kW)
- All of the generated power is sold to Izumisano Power which sells it to its retail customers
- The project was one of the FY2022 recipients of METI’s subsidy for promoting solar panel installation
