  • Chubu Electric Power Miraiz will build a new solar power plant on the roof of a distribution warehouse in Aichi Prefecture and will supply the excess electricity not consumed by the warehouse to Tokai Rika and 12 of its parts suppliers
  • Suppliers that will receive power as part of the PPA include include Shinsei Koki (Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture), Plasess (Toyokawa City, Aichi Prefecture), Sawada Kogyo (Taketoyo Town, Aichi Prefecture), Shirafuji Kogyo (Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture), Inaguma Press Kogyo (Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture), NBC (Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture), Enshu (Iwata City, Shizuoka Prefecture), Enshu Jushi Kogyo (Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture), Kawabe (Okaya City, Nagano Prefecture), Fukoku Tokai (Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture), MARUEI (Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture), and Yawata Seibyousho (Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture)
  • Of the approximately 5.8MW power plant capacity, 70% is expected to be excess and delivered to Tokai Rika and its suppliers; equivalent to approximately 20% of the electricity used by Tokai Rika headquarters/factory
