- As part of this PPA, Mori Building in cooperation with Ecokaku will, between FY2023 end and FY2024, develop six agrisolar power plants covering an area of approximately 10ha; grain, soybeans, and other crops will be grown at the power plants
- The power plants will be located in Kuwayama (Chikusei City, Ibaraki Prefecture), Niisatocho (Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture), Miyamachi (Tochigi City, Tochigi Prefecture), Gongendo (Satte City, Saitama Prefecture, two power plants), and Senzuka (Satte City, Saitama Prefecture)
- The power will be supplied to Toranomon Hills Mori Tower and other “Hills” buildings operated by Mori
- On February 13, 2024, “Mori Building Chikusei City Kuwayama Agricultural Solar Power Plant” became the first power plant to commence commercial operations as part of this PPA; the plant will generate approximately 0.280GWh/year, and the power will be supplied to Toranomon Hills Mori Tower
- Once fully operational, the PPA is expected to cover approximately 10% to 15% of each Hills buildings’ consumption
