- Shizen Energy in partnership with Bison Energy will develop four solar power plants in Niigata and Yamagata prefectures:
- Kashiwazaki Matsunami Solar Power Plant (3,301.0kW DC / 1,999.0kW AC) entered into service on April 1, 2024
- Makibuchi Solar Power Plant (921.2kW DC / 700.0kW AC) is expected to enter into service in October 2025
- Fukazawacho Solar Power Plant (1,918.8kW DC / 1,500.0kW AC) is expected to enter into service in October 2024
- Yamagata Shinjo Solar Power Plant (571.8kW DC / 400.0kW AC) is expected to enter into service in October 2024
The power from this PPA is being delivered to five Bourbon factories in Niigata Prefecture; Bourbon will procure the remaining power not covered by this PPA through its existing retail contract
