- SMFL Mirai Partners developed a rooftop solar power plant at KIOXIA Corporation’s Yokkaichi Factory’s No. 5 Production Building in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture; the generated power is being used at the factory
- The two companies also commissioned an on-site PPA at the factory’s No. 6 Production Building in 2023; combined, the two PPAs have a capacity of 7.3MW, generate 7.9GWh annually, and reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 3.7t per year
