- Iwate Prefecture’s first local power retailer (a retailer with investments from local governments, local businesses, and other businesses with expertise in the power business) Kuji Regional Energy signed a PPA with Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions
- Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions will aggregate power from 35 power plants in the Tohoku TSO area including 15 newly developed FIP plants totaling 750kW (AC) and 20 existing non-FIP plants totaling 1MW (AC)
