- Iino Kaiun’s wholly-owned SPC built the Akita Sarukawa Solar Power Plant on JAPEX’s land in Oga City, Akita Prefecture, and began delivering the generated non-fossil certificates to Iino Kaiun
- Iino Kaiun will use the certificates to decarbonize the office buildings it owns; it expects the volume to account for approximately 3% of its Tokyo buildings’ consumption
- The PPA is part of a partnership signed between Iino Kaiun and JAPEX as part of which they plan to develop approximately 30MW of solar by 2030
