- Due to the first auction being undersubscribed and multiple projects being awarded at its price ceiling, the second auction was the first one where the price ceiling was not disclosed before bids were submitted
- None of the nine submitted bids were under the price ceiling; the bids ranged between 16.47 yen/kWh and 20.99 yen/kWh for projects between 3,960kW ad 85,000kW
