GreenEnergy & Company commissioned the 1.99MW/8.15MWh Fukuchiyama Haji Power Storage Station in Fukuchiyama City, Kyoto Prefecture, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Micro GX Kyoto LLC, the company announced on September 29, 2026.
According to the statement, GreenEnergy Plus handled engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC). GREEN ACTION will aggregate the asset and GreenEnergy Facilities will be in charge of its operations and maintenance (O&M).
Fukuchiyama Haji Power Storage Station is the third grid-scale battery storage asset in which the group holds a stake, following facilities in Kagoshima and Hiroshima prefectures completed in June 2024 and January 2026, respectively. The TSE Growth-listed parent company said it plans to expand its owned portfolio into other TSO areas, including Tokyo and Chubu.
The project is part of the company’s Micro GX concept, under which it aims to bring in local businesses and municipalities as investors in the future. Separately from the Kyoto project, Micro GX Hiroshima LLC secured a 10-year, 658.4 million yen loan from MUFG Bank in September 2026. National Tax Agency data shows one other entity following the same naming pattern, Micro GX Tokushima LLC, registered at the parent’s Tokushima headquarters.
GreenEnergy & Company said it had over 100 grid-scale battery storage projects under development as of July 31, 2026. The group has completed 11 high-voltage assets, including its own and third-party facilities, totaling 84MWh. It has secured orders for another 25 totaling about 200MWh, with 10 of those expected to be completed within 2026 and 15 in 2027.
