The number of solar power plants developed by iGrid Solutions for its on-site PPA business exceeded 1,000, the renewable power services company announced on September 12, 2024.

“In the past year, we achieved a development speed of more than one power plant per day,” iGrid Solutions said. According to the company’s statement, the 1,000 power plants add up to approximately 240MW and were developed for approximately 270 clients including Valor HD, Yaoko, and Senko that signed 20-year on-site PPAs with the company.

Anticipating further growth of its on-site PPA business, the company will open a new customer center this month. “In on-site PPA, we conduct business under long-term 20-year contracts with our customers, and we believe it is important to always listen directly to our customers’ requests and create a system that can quickly solve their problems,” the company explained the reason behind the creating the new facility.

“In addition to inquiries about daily power generation status and maintenance, we would like to develop a customer center as a place for multifaceted communication, such as consultations about GX in general and catching up on new customer needs and using them to develop new services,” it continued.

Having started offering solar power plant development through an on-site PPA model, iGrid Solutions was one of the early entrants into the market.
